Twentieth Century Theatre

Twentieth Century Theatre

This Grade II listed hall in Notting Hill was built in 1863 and is a rare survival of a small theatre. The building has not been used for performance for more than fifty years, having been subsequently used as an antiques arcade and as an events venue for hire.

In collaboration with Caruso St John Architects, our conservation team have been advising on the hall's refurbishment to create a distinctive new performance centre in west London and an improved home for the Aspect Foundation for Music and Art, an organisation that aims to bring chamber music to a wide audience, and will provide facilities for musical education, practice and performance.

Following extensive community consultation, the scheme was submitted for planning approval in 2023.
