Eaton Place & Lowndes Close

The listed 1830s terrace and mews had been converted into flats and redevelopment has involved turning it back into a single house. Major enhancements have been made, particularly to the servicing.

This required a new sub-basement under the mews house, which has been demolished and rebuilt. At the same time, the house has been extended over three of its five storeys and the 1950s lift shaft altered to serve the basement. This was a particularly challenging piece of work that involved some delicate underpinning and hefty temporary works.
