We worked with We Made That to design and deliver a much-needed new public space in the heart of Wealdstone town centre. The project reinvigorated and doubled the size of an existing underused public space, providing new planting, street furniture and a flexible event space for markets, film screenings, performances and entertainment.
We provided transport and civil engineering design input, which included careful consideration of how to remove road markings and signage clutter, and create a pedestrian priority space, while still accommodating servicing and cycling access through.
