Director
Olivier joined us in 2007 and has a passion for delivering the very highest standard of engineering design to support the creation of unique spaces for important clients, augmented by using sketching and drawing to explore ideas.
He has a wealth of experience working on projects in London and across the UK. His understanding of the demanding nature of the clients and the need for absolute quality is reflected in his approach to the design and construction phases of projects to ensure clients are satisfied with the completed buildings.
For the refurbishment and extension of the Grade I listed private house in Wiltshire into a 25-bedroom residence along with multiple buildings, the project was delivered in packages under the guidance of a Construction Manager, who Olivier worked closely with to formulate an effective procurement strategy for the structural works. His work on country estates also includes work at Hoddington House, a Grade II* listed manor house and outbuildings that was delivered in stages over a number of years with the client’s Italian designers, who informed the progression of the designs for the UK design team to deliver.
Olivier has also been responsible for a projects involving regional and national centres for arts and culture, including the National Gallery; the Victoria and Albert Museum and the new, National Spitfire Memorial in Southampton.
As an Associate Engineer, he was responsible for managing the delivery of the redevelopment of the Everyman Theatre in Liverpool, which was awarded the RIBA Stirling Prize in 2014. His other work on theatres and auditoria includes our input on the refurbishment of the Victorian Theatre at Alexandra Palace, another award-winning scheme.
