Alice is a conservation advisor with a particular interest in seventeenth and eighteenth-century architecture. She previously worked for the Pevsner Architectural Guides.

Alice has assessed the significance and the heritage impacts of new development on a range of special historic places including listed buildings and conservation areas. She has extensive experience in advising on the sensitive refurbishment of museum and gallery spaces to improve display, access and environmental performance. These include the Grade I listed Pallant House Gallery in Chichester and the ruinous Grade I listed Clandon Park in Surrey.

Her most recent work includes a project to refurbish a derelict Grade II listed cinema in Paignton to support cinema, creative, cultural and community uses.
