Jonas has worked on a broad range of projects, with particular expertise advising on cultural heritage and historic buildings. He also has experience designing temporary works, with a strong focus on transforming listed buildings of national significance.

Jonas has contributed to major cultural institutions including the Royal Academy of Arts, where he has worked on the appraisal of existing listed structures and the design of new elements to create updated spaces for the Royal Academy schools within the Grade II* listed building. His experience extends to other prestigious museums and galleries, notably Tate Britain, where he has supported curators with artwork installations, repaired structural defects, and appraised existing structures to facilitate improvements to back of house archive and storage spaces.

Jonas has undertaken significant work within the Parliamentary Estate, including multiple projects at the Palace of Westminster. His recent work includes structural appraisals in the Grade I listed Westminster Hall. He has also worked on Portcullis House, where he has advised on defects with the glazed atrium roof and bronze roofs and turrets, whilst assisting with the building’s ongoing maintenance. Additionally, he contributed to the refurbishment of Millbank House, a Grade II* listed building, where he designed new basement structures to accommodate plant equipment and flood protection systems.

His other work includes designing a concrete- framed extension to the Grade I listed Kensington Palace Orangery and the structural design for reinstating floor and balcony structures at 120 Wellington Street in Hong Kong, the only remaining first generation shophouse in the territory.
