Senior Professional

Jonas joined us in 2021 following a year-in-industry placement while at University.

Working within the Parliamentary Estate team, he has experience with existing and listed buildings, often within constrained and occupied sites. He also has previous experience with both temporary and permanent works design and has contributed to a number of projects involving well-known listed buildings.

Jonas’ recent work has included projects across the Parliamentary Estate; In the Southern Estate his work on the structural alterations to the basement at Millbank House is coming to a conclusion. On the Northern Estate, he has been involved in the appraisal of existing structures and the design of alterations at Portcullis House and Canon Row. Within the Palace itself, Jonas has been involved with projects in New Palace Yard, the House of Commons and Westminster Hall.

As well as the Palace of Westminster, Jonas has worked on other well-known buildings, including Tate Britain, the Orangery at Kensington Palace, the Royal Academy of Arts and one of Hong Kong’s first conservation-led schemes with the restoration of a former shophouse.

His previous experience at a temporary works design practice means he carefully considers how his designs will be safely built and the sequencing of the works necessary to install them.
