Brooklands Museum
We were engineers for the award-winning £8m Heritage Lottery funded regeneration project at Brooklands Museum, the birthplace of British motorsport and aviation and the home of many remarkable engineering and technological achievements through the twentieth century.
Key elements of this unique project – with architects Thomas Ford & Partners – were the relocating and strengthening of a Grade II listed World War Two hangar, the construction of a new flight shed and repairs to the original race track finishing straight.
The project was shortlisted for the Art Fund Museum of the Year 2018 and won ‘Tourist attraction of the year’ at the Surrey Business Awards 2019.
