We are providing structural and civil engineering works for the extension and redevelopment of a distinctive modernist house on Swains Lane, Hampstead.
The proposals are to extend the 4,340 sqft Grade II* listed house - designed in 1967-9 by architect John Winter for himself and his family - by converting an existing in-filled cutting on the site into a habitable basement space. Additionally, the plans involve a new underground tunnel that will be constructed to connect the existing house to the new space that has been created by excavating the existing cutting.
