Gabriele is a Civil and Structural Engineer with experience on a wide variety of building types and sizes, from the design of new structures to the refurbishment of existing buildings. They include a range of residential developments and work on listed buildings.
His recent projects include the £45m Apex Gardens and £110m Marylebone Square developments. Both projects are located on inner city sites with complex engineering constraints that had to be resolved in the design. Gabriele’s work to solve these challenges has been key to the success of the projects.
He is currently working on the conservation of a historic site in the Middle East, as well as the £15m refurbishment of the Grade II listed Queen’s building at Queen Mary University of London. He continues to advise on a series of high-end residential refurbishments at the Grade I listed Albany in Piccadilly. Both of these sites are to be occupied during construction, so developing a suitable construction sequencing and methodology is a crucial part of Gabriele’s work.
