Helen has worked on a variety of projects, specialising in establishing architectural narratives, documentation, and historical contexts. She is interested in twentieth century architecture, with a broader focus on the adaptive reuse of the historic built environment.
Her work has helped support our involvement on a broad range of residential and community schemes by providing research that enables the smooth transition of developments through the planning process.
Helen also ensures rigorous historic research, supporting the team to establish local contexts, historic significance, and complex building phases. This has included examining properties ranging from the Courtauld Institute of Art, to setting out a heritage strategy for the historic coastal town of Hastings.
Concurrently with her work for us, Helen recently completed an MSt in Building History at the University of Cambridge.
