Senior Professional

Henry has worked on a wide range of complex projects, in particular structural repairs and alterations to historic structures including Grade I and II* Listed buildings and a Scheduled Ancient Monument.

He works on a variety new build and refurbishment projects including the Passivhaus-standard Spencer Building at Corpus Christi College in Oxford, which provided state of the art, environmentally controlled archive storage and research facilities in a new building constructed on a heavily constrained site between existing historic buildings. Other current projects include a new learning facility at Stonehenge, a greenhouse and nursery complex at Kew Gardens Wakehurst and the conversion of an office block to residential apartments in central London.

Henry has worked on projects at other sensitive sites including the refurbishment of the Grade I listed Stationers’ Hall and the restoration and redevelopment of a John Soane-designed Grade II* listed former Stable Block at the Royal Hospital Chelsea to create a new Outreach and Community Centre. At All Saints Annexe, Henry worked closely with EPR Architects on the award-winning conversion of a former Victorian hospital building to their new offices. He also designed an additional storey and refurbishment works to Flemings Hotel Mayfair, which comprises a row of 10 Grade II* Listed Georgian terrace houses.

Henry brings a wealth of experience and an in-depth, practical understanding of materials and historic building techniques to all of his projects. He works closely with clients and Architects to develop elegant, cost-effective and buildable solutions that complement and enhance the existing fabric.
