Michael works in our movement team, and has a wide range of experience on projects including masterplans, town centre regeneration schemes, brownfield developments, urban extensions and rural estates.
His work has included transport strategies, transport assessments, transport modelling, travel plans, civils design for public realm, highways and cycle infrastructure, and transport research. He has a broad skill set, and takes a holistic view towards the built environment.
Prior to joining us, he worked in structural engineering and building envelope consulting. He has also worked on higher-level infrastructure strategies, contributing to the research and writing of the report “Ambitions and Opportunities” by the Independent Transport Commission, which concerned high-speed rail and land use.
Michael has a keen interest in broader issues and emerging best practice in transport, and the important role that efficient and sustainable movement plays for cities and the built environment.
